Katherine Edwards | Lawyer | G&B Lawyers

Katherine is a planning & environmental lawyer and assists in all aspects of waste management law, work health and safety issues, environmental investigations and compliance.

This work includes liaising with government agencies such as the Environment Protection Authority and local councils.

Katherine also assists clients in the areas of property and planning due diligence, conveyancing, compulsory acquisitions, commercial contracts and all aspects of litigation, including the Local Court for motor vehicle accidents.

Katherine helps clients to understand their legislative environmental compliance obligations and advises clients in all aspects of Land and Environment Court and Supreme Court litigation. Katherine also assists Nathan Buckley in our corporate and litigation practice.

She was the former in-house Legal Counsel at Dial A Dump Industries, one of the leading waste management facilities in NSW and has significant practical and commercial experience in the waste management sector.

She is regarded as one of the up and coming planning and environmental lawyers in New South Wales.

Katherine graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science (Majoring in Biological Sciences with Distinction).
